Super Eagles squad for Benin Republic and Rwanda matches submitted to NFF
Caretaker coach of the Super Eagles, Austin Eguavoen has officially submitted his squad-list to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the upcoming qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
2023 AFCON runners-up, Nigeria will conclude up their 2025 edition qualification campaign with matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
The Matchday 5 clash with Benin Republic is set to take place at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny on Thursday, November 14, 2024 with kickoff by 8 PM Nigeria time.
Nigeria’s final qualifying match for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations against Rwanda is scheduled for November 18 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
In preparation for these vital fixtures, Eguavoen has selected a strong squad predominantly featuring players based abroad.
Super Eagles are currently top of the table with 10 points. A draw against Benin Republic in Cote D’Ivoire secures the 2025 African Nations Cup ticket for Nigeria.
