Super Falcons reveal squad numbers for 2024 Olympic games
The squad numbers for Nigeria’s Super Falcons players in the 2024 Olympic Games have been released. SportsRation reports.
Leading the team, Africa’s most decorated forward, Asisat Oshoala, will wear the number 8 jersey. Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie will sport the number 16, while Christy Ucheibe from Benfica takes on the prestigious number 10 shirt.
Chukwunonye Macleans, currently playing in Russia, has been assigned number 9. Nicole Payne will take over the number 4 jersey, previously worn by the injured Ashleigh Plumptre. Toni Payne retains her number 7, and captain Rasheedat Ajibade continues with number 15.

The Super Falcons will kick off their campaign against Brazil at Stade Bordeaux on Thursday. Coach Randy Waldrum’s team will also face world champions Spain and Japan in their group matches.
