Manchester United propose Memphis Depay, Sadio Mane swap deal to Southampton?

Manchester United have reportedly decided to offer Southampton the chance to sign Memphis Depay, providing that they receive Sadio Mane in return.

The Red Devils were said to be keen on Mane’s services last summer, but they were unable to strike a deal with their Premier League counterparts.

However, this time around, the Daily Star claims that United are ready to use Southampton’s supposed interest in Depay to finally land their target.

Twenty-two-year-old Depay sealed a £25m move to Old Trafford from PSV Eindhoven last May, but he has struggled to live up to his billing as one of Europe’s hottest prospects.

Mane, meanwhile, has scored four goals in his last five outings for the Saints.
