Iga Swiatek has begun working with new coach Francisco Roig following her split from Wim Fissette.

Swiatek confirmed the move on social media, posting:

“Welcome to the team, Francisco! Very excited for this new chapter.”

Roig brings experience to the role, having been part of Rafael Nadal’s coaching team for several years. He has also worked with players including Matteo Berrettini and Emma Raducanu.

The change marks a new phase for Swiatek as she continues her season with a different setup.
