Taiwo Awoniyi ends goal drought, hits 10th league goal in Bundesliga

Taiwo Awoniyi has finally ended his goal drought after coming from the bench to help Union berlin secure a comfortable 3-1 win against Mainz 05 on Saturday.

The Super Eagles striker is without a goal in all three games he played for Union berlin since returning from Africa Cup of Nations.

But he broke the goalless run with a fine strike at the Alte Foersterei on Saturday.

Taiwo Awoniyi scored Union Berlin’s third goal of the game in the 75th minute of the game, 8th minute after coming.

The goal was his 10th this season in the German Bundesliga.
