Tammy Abraham: Not ruling out playing for Nigeria

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham who is currently on loan at Bristol City, is open to representing Nigeria in future.
The Anglo Nigerian had been tipped to follow Marcus Rashford’s path to England after his two goals for the England U21’s against Bosnia and Herzegovina earlier this month but remains eligible to play for Nigeria through his parents.
The NFF chairman Amaju Pinnick had stated he was confident of getting Abraham to switch allegiances to Nigeria claiming that Abrahams Dad and himself are very good friends and the boy is like a son to him
Now the current EFL Player of the Month himself has come out to confirm the possibility of his lining up for the Super Eagles
Tammy told The Sun: “I have to keep doing well for Bristol City for England and Nigeria to keep fighting for me.
“I’m Nigerian as well so it is possible to play for Nigeria. I have to keep focused on playing here and whatever happens, happens.”
The 18 year old rediscovered his scoring touch as he hit the back of the the net for the ninth time this season as Bristol City drew 2-2 at Barnsley on Saturday.
