Pacers defeat Hornets, set to play second play-in game
Boston Celtics defeated the Washington Wizards in their play-in tournament match as the 7th and 8th seeds of the NBA’s Eastern Conference. The Celtics secured a 118-100 win to qualify for the playoffs. Jayson Tatum was brilliant for the Celtics as he contributed 50 points with 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the Celtics, taking them through to the playoffs proper. The Wizards have a second shot at redemption when they face the Indiana Pacers.
Indiana Pacers won their first play-in tournament game as they defeated the Charlotte Hornets 144-117. Oshae Brissett scored 23 points with 5 rebounds and 2 assists, and Domantas Sabonis had a double double of 14 points, 21 rebounds and 9 assists. The Pacers will now face Washington Wizards for a place in the playoffs.
