Taye Taiwo names three clubs Ademola Lookman should DUMP Atalanta for in January if offer arrives
Former Super Eagles defender Taye Taiwo has advised Ademola Lookman to consider a transfer to a bigger club during the January transfer window.
Lookman has been in impressive form this season, attracting interest from top European teams. In just 14 matches for Atalanta, the forward has scored nine goals and provided four assists, helping the Italian club lead the Serie A table.
Speaking to Africa Foot, Taiwo encouraged Lookman to take advantage of any offers from major clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, or Arsenal.
“If Manchester United, Chelsea, or Arsenal approach him, he should seize the opportunity,” Taiwo said. “The situation is tricky because Atalanta are in a strong position to win Serie A and may not want to lose one of their best players.
“However, from a financial perspective, the timing is perfect. He’s one of the most sought-after players in Europe, and many clubs would do anything to sign him.”
Taiwo’s comments come as Lookman’s performances continue to raise his profile, making him a key target for top teams in need of attacking talent.
Lookman now faces the decision of staying at Atalanta to push for Serie A glory or moving to a bigger club to advance his career further.
