Team Nigeria Earns $130,000 At World Athletics Ultimate Championship
Team Nigeria has returned from the World Athletics Ultimate Championship in Budapest with a total prize money of $130,000 after competing in five events.
Tobi Amusan led the Nigerian athletes at the championship, finishing as the country’s highest-placed athlete at the event.
The championship brought together some of the world’s best track and field athletes, with Nigerian representatives competing against strong opposition in their various events.
Although the Nigerian athletes had different results across their events, their performances in Budapest earned the country a combined $130,000 in prize money.
Amusan’s performance once again highlighted her place among Nigeria’s leading athletics stars, while other members of the team also contributed to the country’s overall earnings.
Team Nigeria’s campaign in Budapest has now come to an end, with the athletes returning home with both prize money and valuable experience from competing on the world stage.
