Team Nigeria finishes 6th in Women’s 4x100m Relay Heat at Paris Olympics
Nigeria’s women’s 4x100m relay team, comprising Justina Eyakpobeyan, Favour Ofili, Rosemary Chukwuma, and Tima Godbless, finished 6th in Heat 2 at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The Team Nigeria quartet clocked a Season’s Best time of 42.70 seconds, but it was not enough to secure an automatic spot in the final.
In the heats, Team USA emerged as the clear leaders, with Sha’Carri Richardson delivering a strong finish.

The British team, featuring Bianca Williams, Imani Lansiquot, Amy Hunt, and Desiree Henry, won the second heat, while France secured 2nd place with a time of 42.13 seconds. Jamaica rounded out the top three in the heat with a time of 42.35 seconds.
Despite their strong performance, Nigeria’s relay team will not advance to the finals, marking a challenging end to their Olympic campaign.
