Terem Moffi scores as Lorient bow to PSG in Ligue One
Nigerian striker Terem Moffi scored his 9th Ligue One goal of the season as Lorient bowed to a 1-2 Ligue One loss to PSG on Sunday afternoon.
The Champions led through a Neymar first half strike before Terem Moffi struck the equalizer in the 51st minute to level scores at 1-1.
Moffi and 5th placed Lorient have enjoyed an impressive campaign and were hoping to grind out at least a point vs the star studded Parisiens before Danilo Pereira struck.
Paris Saint Germain’s push for a winner paid off in the 81st minute. Danilo Pereira bagged the goal which condemned Lorient to a 1-2 defeat in the Matchday 14 encounter.
PSG lead the 14-weeks old 2022/2023 French Ligue season with 38 points and are followed by surprise package Lens.
For his form, 23-year old Terem Moffi has walked his way to international relevance with the Super Eagles of Nigeria and is on the roster for the International friendly between Nigeria and Portugal this week.
