Terem Moffi Scores as OGC Nice Beat Sheffield United 3-2 in Friendly Match

Nigerian footballer Terem Moffi scored a goal to help his team, OGC Nice, win 3-2 against Sheffield United in a preseason friendly match on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

Moffi, who plays for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, showed great form by scoring in the second half of the game played at the Allianz Riviera in France.

The match started with Sheffield United taking the lead in the 29th minute thanks to a goal from Tyrese Campbell. But just before halftime, Morgan Sanson scored for Nice to make it 1-1.

In the second half, Moffi scored in the 68th minute to give Nice a 2-1 lead. Sheffield United later scored again, but an own goal by their player Harrison Burrows gave Nice the win.

Moffi is continuing his good performance from last season, where he scored 10 goals in the French Ligue 1. He will be back in action soon when Nice plays Benfica in a Champions League qualifier.

In other preseason news, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a great goal as his team, Al Nassr, beat Toulouse 2-1.
