Thunder, Raptors and Hawks upstaged
It was a day of upsets after the Oklahoma City Thunder, Toronto Raptors and Atlanta Hawks lost in the NBA.
On Sunday, the Indiana Pacers outlasted the Thunder 115-111 in overtime.
The Raptors’ indifferent form continued, stunned 102-99 by the Sacramento Kings.
As for the Hawks, they slumped to a 104-94 defeat at the New York Knicks.
WESTBROOK TRIPLE-DOUBLE NOT ENOUGH
Despite another triple-double from Russell Westbrook, the Thunder (8-6) fell to the Pacers, who claimed their first road win of the season.
Westbrook posted his fifth triple-double of the season, finishing with 31 points, 15 assists and 11 rebounds in the loss in Oklahoma City.
Double-doubles from Glenn Robinson III (16 points, 11 rebounds) and Thaddeus Young (20 points, 11 rebounds) inspired the Pacers (7-7).
GAY SINKS RAPTORS
Kings star Rudy Gay had 23 points and nine rebounds as Sacramento defeated the Raptors.
The Raptors (8-5) thought they had forced overtime following Terrence Ross’ three-pointer on the buzzer, but officials ruled time had expired.
It helped snap Sacramento’s (5-9) four-game losing streak.
Kyle Lowry scored 25 points as the Raptors lost for the third time in four games.
HAWKS FALL TO MELO AND KNICKS
Carmelo Anthony matched his season high with 31 points as the Knicks upstaged the Hawks in New York.
Kristaps Porzingis added 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Knicks (6-7), who recorded their fourth consecutive home win.
The Hawks (9-4) were led by Dwight Howard’s 18 points and 18 rebounds.

TRAIL BLAZERS BEAT NETS
The Portland Trail Blazers had six players with double-digit points as they defeated the Brooklyn Nets 129-109.
Jimmy Butler posted 40 points to lead the Chicago Bulls past the Los Angeles Lakers 118-110, while the Denver Nuggets were 105-91 winners over the Utah Jazz.
CLIPPERS, WARRIORS, SPURS HEADLINE ACTION
The team with the best win-loss record this season, the Los Angeles Clippers, take on the Raptors on Monday. The Golden State Warriors face the Pacers, while the San Antonio Spurs clash with the Dallas Mavericks.
