Tolu Arokodare scores twice in KRC Genk’s 3-0 win vs Royal Antwerp

In a Belgian Pro League clash, Tolu Arokodare showcased his goal-scoring prowess by coming off the bench to score twice in KRC Genk’s 3-0 triumph over champions Royal Antwerp at the Cegeka Arena.

Genk took the lead on 10 minutes courtesy of a goal from Gambia forward Alieu Fadera. Arokodare entered the game in the 69th minute, replacing Christopher Bonsu Baah.

The Nigerian striker made an immediate impact, scoring his first goal 15 minutes from time after receiving a low cross from compatriot Yira Sor. Arokodare secured Genk’s third goal on 77 minutes, completing his brace.

With this impressive performance, Arokodare has now scored six goals in 19 league appearances for Genk this season. His notable contribution includes being the second player this season to score twice as a substitute in a Belgian Pro League game.

The victory sees Genk maintain their strong position in the league, and Arokodare’s goal-scoring prowess adds value to the team’s success.
