” Too Poor For Our Legends ” Nigerians React To First Images Of The Houses Reportedly Allocated By The Federal Government To The 1994 Nations Cup Winning Squad
Images Of the houses reportedly allocated to the 1994 Nations Cup Winning Green Eagles team has Surfaced on Social media for the first time. The images of the Flats with the names of the players on it has attracted criticism from Nigerians on Social media.
The President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government had on the 7th of March 2022 approved the allocation of houses to 22 members of the 1994 Super Eagles Nations Cup Winning team in their various states in fulfillment of a pledge made to them 28 years ago by the then Federal Government.
No images of the houses was put forward until today when images appeared on social media of flats in Imo state with the names of three players from the squad with a Nigerian Flag wrapped at the entrance.
In separate social media reactions, Nigerians lamented over the quality of the houses and submitted it was ” Too poor for our legends “.
