Top 10 NBA Three-Point Shooters: Harden Passes Allen, Jokes ‘Curry Doesn’t Count’
NBA’s updated top 10 three-point list sees James Harden rise to No. 2, but Stephen Curry remains untouchable at the top.
Los Angeles Clippers guard James Harden has climbed to second place on the NBA’s all-time three-pointers list, surpassing Ray Allen with 2,975 career triples. However, in a playful moment during an interview with ESPN’s Shams Charania, Harden quipped:
“I’m going to consider myself number one. Steph doesn’t count.”
The milestone came during Sunday’s game against the Utah Jazz, where Harden sank two of his eight three-point attempts in a 116-105 win. Just two days earlier, he had tied Ray Allen for second place during the Clippers’ 125-104 loss to the Houston Rockets.
Here’s the updated Top 10 All-Time NBA Three-Point Shooters:
1. Stephen Curry – 3,782
2. James Harden – 2,975
3. Ray Allen – 2,973
4. Damian Lillard – 2,639
5. Reggie Miller – 2,560
6. Klay Thompson – 2,522
7. Kyle Korver – 2,450
8. LeBron James – 2,441
9. Vince Carter – 2,290
10. Jason Terry – 2,282
Harden’s remarks about Curry were clearly in jest, as he went on to acknowledge the Warriors guard’s dominance:
“Steph is the greatest shooter we’ve ever seen.”
Stephen Curry, who shattered Ray Allen’s record on December 14, 2021, continues to set the standard for three-point shooting, cementing his legacy as the greatest shooter in NBA history. Harden’s latest milestone adds to his own legacy as one of the most prolific scorers the game has ever seen.
