Toronto Raptors Thrash New York Knicks 148-98

The Toronto Raptors delivered an emphatic preseason performance, defeating the New York Knicks 148-98 in a one-sided contest.
Kawhi Leonard led Toronto with 21 points in his preseason debut, while Scottie Barnes contributed 19 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals. Collin Murray-Boyles also finished with 19 points.
Toronto’s offensive production proved too much for New York, as the Raptors built a commanding advantage and finished with a 50-point victory.
Although preseason results do not determine regular-season success, the performance offered Toronto an opportunity to assess its offensive options and build chemistry ahead of the competitive campaign.
Leonard’s return to preseason action and the contributions from Barnes and Murray-Boyles were among the key positives for the Raptors.
The Knicks will look to use the remaining preseason games to sharpen their preparations before the regular season begins.
