Transfer: Francis Uzoho Leaves Omonia Nicosia for ALS Omonia
Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has officially left Omonia Nicosia to join ALS Omonia, SportsRation reports.
The Nigerian goalkeeper confirmed his departure from Omonia on Saturday, August 29, 2026, bringing an end to his time with the Cypriot club.
Uzoho shared an emotional farewell message, thanking everyone at Omonia, especially the supporters, for their love and support during his time at the club.
The 27-year-old first joined Omonia on loan from Deportivo La Coruña in July 2019 before returning to the club on a permanent deal in the summer of 2021.
During his time with Omonia, Uzoho made 77 appearances across all competitions, conceding 84 goals and keeping 29 clean sheets.
The goalkeeper was also part of Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets squad that won the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2013.
Uzoho now begins a new chapter with ALS Omonia as he looks to continue his career in Cyprus.
