Chelsea’s German manager, Thomas Tuchel has been named as the EA Sports English Premier League Manager of the Month following his side’s performance in the league over three games played in the month of March.
Chelsea started the month with a 1-0 win away at Liverpool, before winning 2-0 at home to Everton and playing a goalless draw at Leeds United to end the month. They scored three goals and conceded none in the league, their defensive stability has been a major highlight under Tuchel with defender, Andreas Christensen receiving a nomination for Player of the Month as well.
Tuchel, who joined Chelsea as a replacement for Frank Lampard, has remained unbeaten in his first 14 games in charge of Chelsea, and is the first manager in their history to achieve this feat. He has also led Chelsea to the semifinals of the FA Cup and quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.
