Turkish Pundit Praises Victor Osimhen After Hat-Trick Against Antalyaspor
Turkish football expert Ersin Düzen has praised Victor Osimhen for his strong character after the striker scored a brilliant hat-trick on Friday night.
The Nigerian star was in top form, scoring three goals in Galatasaray’s 4-0 win over Antalyaspor at Rams Park. The victory moved Osimhen to the top of the Turkish Super Lig scorers’ chart.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray last summer and has been one of their best players this season. He has scored 20 league goals and made four assists in 22 games.
His hard work and hunger for goals have made him one of the most dangerous strikers in the league.
Speaking after the game, Galatasaray insider and TV100 commentator Ersin Düzen praised the 26-year-old for his determination and desire to score goals.
In an interview shared by habersarikirmizi, Düzen said, “There is a player who does everything others around him cannot do. Can such a player exist? You watch him on the field and wonder.”
“He does not stop. I have never seen a player as hungry for goals as Osimhen in my life. This is what makes him so special.
“I played professional football for 16 or 17 years, but I was never this hungry. We played many matches, but it was not the same.
“Even when the score is 3-0 and he has scored a hat-trick, he is still hungry. He lives for goals and is always focused on the game.”
Osimhen’s great form has also caught the attention of the Nigerian national team. He has been called up to the Super Eagles squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle will be hoping Osimhen can continue his excellent form as Nigeria looks to win both games and move closer to qualifying for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
