Turkish Pundit Says Osimhen’s Goals Are Over Shadowing Gabriel Sara’s Contributions

Turkish pundit Cem Dizdar believes that Gabriel Sara’s performance is not getting enough attention because of Victor Osimhen’s scoring form.

Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli during the summer, has been outstanding for the Turkish team. He has scored 12 goals and provided five assists in 15 matches so far. Osimhen has become a fan favorite and an important player for Galatasaray as they compete for the league title.

However, Dizdar thinks Sara, who also plays for Galatasaray, deserves more recognition. He mentioned that while everyone praises Osimhen for scoring goals, not enough is said about Sara’s contributions, especially his assists.

Dizdar said, “Everyone talks about Victor Osimhen scoring so many goals, but why doesn’t anyone talk about Gabriel Sara’s assists?”

He added that Sara made great crosses in a match against Beşiktaş, which helped set up two goals. Despite these contributions, Sara hasn’t received as much praise. Dizdar also pointed out that people were initially unsure about Sara because he came from England’s Championship and because of his transfer fee.

Since joining Galatasaray from Norwich City, Sara has quietly scored two goals and provided six assists in 15 league games. Despite his important role, he hasn’t gotten as much attention as Osimhen, who is widely recognized as one of Africa’s top forwards in Europe.

Dizdar called for a fairer recognition of both players, noting that Sara has also played a key part in Galatasaray’s success this season.
