Tut Unveiled As AFCON 2019 Mascot

Confederation of African Football, CAF has unveiled “Tut” as Mascot for the 2019 African Cup Of Nations in Egypt.

The African soccer governing body did the unveiling at the headquarters in Cairo, the venue coincidentally was where the opening and final matches will take place.

Egypt were awarded the hosting right of the competition after original host Cameroon was stripped off the right to host.

Tut is likened to Pharaoh an ancient king in the country and dressed in country’s attire.

The 2019 AFCON will kick off in Egypt on the 21st of June with the opening match between host, Egypt and Zimbabwe.

Nigeria are in Group B alongside Guinea, Madagascar and Burundi
