U20 World Cup Qualifier: Falconets holds Morocco, grabs vital away goal
The Super Falconets of Nigeria on Sunday held their host, Morocco to a 1 – 1 draw in a FIFA U20 Womens World Cup qualifying match.
The hosts broke the deadlock on the stroke of halftime through Sedki Nouhaila while FC Robo Queens striker Rasheedat Ajibade scored Nigeria’s lone goal as the Falconets recorded a valuable draw and an away goal.
Nigeria’s U-20 girls will now need a win or a goalless draw when Morocco come visiting in two weeks time in Benin City, Edo State.
The winner over the two legs will progress to face either of South Africa or Burundi in the third and final round scheduledfor January next year.
