U23 AFCON Qualifier: DR Congo Confirm Stadium for Nigeria Clash

The Democratic Republic of Congo have confirmed the TP Mazembe Stadium as the venue for their first-leg encounter against Nigeria in the second round of the U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
According to the Congolese Football Association (FECOFA), the match will take place on November 13, 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00 p.m. local time.
Head coach Guy Bukasa and his team will return to the stadium, where they previously recorded a convincing victory over Mauritania.
The match is part of the qualifying campaign for the 2027 U23 AFCON, which also serves as a pathway towards the Olympic Games.
Nigeria will aim for a positive result against the Congolese side to strengthen their chances of advancing to the next round.
The two-legged tie will determine which team progresses to the next stage of the qualifying competition.
