Umar Sadiq to link up with Samuel Chukwueze at Villarreal?

Umar Sadiq is reportedly close to joining Villarreal from La Liga new boys Almeria.

The Super Eagles striker will link up with Samuel Chukwueze should the deal go through.

Umar Sadiq whose goals fired Almeria back to Spanish top flight league has been linked with a couple of clubs.

But according to Fabrizio Romano the Nigerian will be heading to Villarreal for sure.

The Italian transfer expert revealed that Umar Sadiq will replace departing Arnut Danjuma.

“West Ham are progressing in talks with Villarreal to sign Arnut Danjuma,” said Fabrizio.

“Work in progress for bit less than €45m, West Ham want him to be one of their statement signings. Personal terms, not discussed yet.

“Villarreal are prepared to sign Umar Sadiq as replacement.”

Villarreal should be able to get their man with a bid upward €25m.
