Unveiled: Ethiopia squad for Super Falcons Olympics Qualifier

The Ethiopia Women’s National team squad that will face Nigeria’s Super Falcons in a Paris 2024 Olympics Qualifier has been unveiled.

Ethiopia and Nigeria will lock horns in a Paris 2024 Olympics second qualifying round clash over two legs in October 2023.

The first leg will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on October 25, before the return leg in five days at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

In the first qualifying round, Nigeria’s Super Falcons were drawn bye while Ethiopia spanked Chad over two legs 10-0 to reach the second qualifying stage.

Ahead of the match, Nigeria named a 22-player squad dominated by 2023 FIFA World Cup Falcons, prominent amongst them, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, Asisat Oshoala , Michelle Alozie, Ifeoma Onomunu, Toni Payne and 18 others.

With less than a week to the first leg, Ethiopia have unveiled their squad.
