Venus Williams back at Indian Wells with another Wildcard

Venus Williams has received a wildcard into both the singles and doubles draws at Indian Wells.

Indian Wells is not the first time organizers have extended a wildcard to Williams in 2026. Williams began her season with a singles wildcard at the ASB Classic, marking her first appearance of the year.

She was also awarded a doubles wildcard at the Australian Open, allowing her to compete during the season’s opening major.

Now Indian Wells joins that list, giving her another opportunity to compete on one of the biggest stages outside the Slams.

At 43, Venus remains one of the most recognizable and respected figures in the sport. We are always happy to watch her on the court.
