Victor Boniface scores first competitive Leverkusen goal in big win
Victor Boniface scored his first competitive goal for Bayer Leverkusen in their 0-8 mauling of FC Teutonia 05 Ottensen.
The game, a German DFB Pokal clash at the Millerntor-Stadion stadium, Hamburg – St. Pauli city saw Bayer Leverkusen spank their less fancied opponents.
Victor Boniface shot home Leverkusen’s second of the match in the 42nd minute off as assisted by Álex Grimaldo to open his goal account for the Xabi Alonso tutored team.
Edmond Tapsoba (16′), Florian Wirtz (45’+1′), Amine Adli (59′ Pen) , Jeremie Frimpong (67′), Adam Hlozek (74′, 90′) and Jonas Hofmann (81′) scored the other goals to seal a 0-8 victory on Saturday August 12.
Boniface joined Bayer Leverkusen this summer from Belgian club Royale Union Saint Gilloloise after a 2022/2023 season where he finished top-scorer in the UEFA Europa League.
