Victor Osimhen returns for Napoli against Verona

Victor Osimhen has been listed amongst the substitute players as Napoli play a Serie A game against Verona at the Diego Maradona Stadium on Saturday.

The Super Eagles striker has missed Napoli’s last four games due to an injury he picked up during international duty for Nigeria.

His absence has been felt by his club who risk elimination from the UEFA Champions League if their star boy is not for the second-leg clash this Tuesday at Maradona Stadium.

Napoli suffered back-to-back defeats to Milan without Victor Osimhen, 4-0 in a league game, and 1-0 in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal game played at San Siro on Wednesday.

But with his return to the bench today, Spalleti, and Napoli fans would be looking forward to seeing him get a game time and be ready for the game against Milan.

First, he will be assessed today against Verona.
