Victor Osimhen Suffers Fresh Drop In Transfer Value

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has seen another drop in his market value, with Transfermarkt reducing his valuation from €75 million to €65 million.
The latest €10 million drop means the Galatasaray forward now has his lowest market value in four years.
Osimhen was last valued at €65 million in June 2022, when he was 23 years old and playing for Napoli.
The Nigerian striker arrived at Galatasaray on loan in September 2024 with a market value of €100 million. At the time, he was the most valuable player in Turkish Süper Lig history.
His value later fell to €75 million after his move from one of Europe’s top five leagues.
The figure dropped further to €70 million before rising back to €75 million after Galatasaray completed his permanent transfer from Napoli for a reported €75 million in July 2025.
Transfermarkt kept his value at €75 million in May 2026 but has now reduced it to €65 million.
The latest figure is €55 million below Osimhen’s career-high valuation of €120 million, which he reached during his time at Napoli.
Osimhen Still Tops Turkish League
Despite the latest drop, Osimhen remains the most valuable player in the Turkish league.
AC Milan forward Rafael Leão is valued at €50 million, while Dušan Vlahović is worth €35 million and Mohamed Salah has a €22 million valuation.
Osimhen’s current form has also been impressive. The Super Eagles striker has scored six goals and provided two assists in four league appearances for Galatasaray this season.
The 27-year-old was reportedly linked with several major European clubs during the summer transfer window.
However, an injury suffered in September has kept him out of Galatasaray’s Champions League matches and Nigeria’s recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Despite the drop in his Transfermarkt valuation, Osimhen remains one of the leading forwards in the Turkish league and an important player for both Galatasaray and Nigeria.
