Victor Osimhen’s club, Napoli are intensifying their efforts to secure former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte as their next manager, with the target he will bring stability to the club after a turbulent season marked by managerial changes.

According to a report from Tutto Mercato Web, Napoli’s pursuit of Conte underscores their determination to establish stability following a 2023/2024 season of managerial upheaval under multiple coaches.

Conte is not the only candidate under consideration, with notable names like Gian Piero Gasperini and Vincenzo Italiano also linked to the managerial role, highlighting Napoli’s intention to appoint an experienced gaffer capable of guiding the club to success.

Aurelio de Laurentiis, the club’s CEO, is leading Napoli’s push to secure Conte, initiating plans to entice him to the helm. Napoli is reportedly prepared to offer Conte a lucrative three-year contract worth €8 million annually.

However, negotiations with Conte are ongoing, indicating the weight of the decision he faces. In case talks with Conte do not materialize, Napoli have alternative options lined up, with Gasperini emerging as a strong contender.

Gasperini’s recent success in guiding Atalanta to the semi-finals of the Europa League adds to his appeal, and so will have suitors with tempting offers at the end of the season.

Furthermore, Stefano Pioli, amid speculation about his future at Milan, remains in contention for the Napoli managerial role, providing the club with multiple options as they seek to establish a path for future success.
