Victor Osimhen has beaten a record set by Cristiano Ronaldo to become the player with the highest vertical jump before scoring a goal in Serie A.

Back in 2019, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a remarkable goal for Juventus against Sampdoria in a league game jumping as high as 256 cm before scoring the goal.

The 256 cm remained the record until Victor Osimhen did the unthinkable for Napoli in a game against Spezia as the Partenopei secured a comfortable 3-0 win on the road.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored Napoli’s first goal of the game before Victor Osimhen leaped high above Spezia’s goalkeeper and defenders to head home the second goal for the visitors.

Victor Osimhen leaped as high as 258 cm before scoring the incredible goal and beating the 256 cm mark set by Cristiano Ronaldo in 2019.

The Nigerian completed his brace with a fine finish to chalk his 16th goal in 17 league games for Napoli this season, reaching a new personal best tally for goals in a league season in his career.
