Marvin Olawale Akinlabi Park has become the first Nigerian to play for Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The 20-year-old attacker was involved as Real Madrid started their title defence with a goalless draw against Real Sociedad on Sunday.

Marvin Olawale Akinlabi Park was subbed on for Rodrygo in the 70th minute of the game and gave a good account of himself.

He was born in Spain to a Nigerian father and Korean mother. Marvin Park has played for the Spanish U-19 team but eligible for both Korea and Nigeria.
