With just 1.4 seconds left on the clock, Gary Harris nailed a three-pointer to lift the Nuggets to a thrilling 127-124 win over the Thunder on Thursday.
As beautiful as his catch and shoot was, Russell Westbrook’s search for his 16th triple-double cost his team a victory having done everything to come back into the game.
Russell Westbrook whose job was to guard Gary Harris left him to wait for a rebound to hit triple-double of the night.
At the time of the play, the reigning MVP was already on double-double points and assists but 1 shot of double-figure in rebound. He had 20 points from 7-of-18 shooting, 21 assists and 9 rebounds in 39 minutes.
