Bulls’ Wade fined $25,000 for throat-slash gesture
Dwyane Wade is just one game into his Bulls tenure but has already picked up his first NBA fine with Chicago.
Wade was fined $25,000 for making a throat-slashing gesture after hitting a three-pointer during the waning seconds of his debut in Thursday’s 105-99 win over the Boston Celtics.
Before the fine was announced on Friday, three-time NBA champion Wade took to social media to apologise for the gesture.
I wanna apologize to my young fans on my gesture at the end of last nights game. I was caught up in the emotions of my first game at home.
