WAFU B CLQ: Bayelsa Queens, Ampem Darkoa Ladies share the spoils in Yamoussoukro

Bayelsa Queens have been held to a barren draw by Ampem Darkoa Ladies in their second group game of the Caf Champions League Qualifiers.

The Nigerian and Ghanaian champions went head to head in Yamoussoukro the capital of Ivory Coast on Wednesday for the top-of-the-table clash but nothing could separate both teams.

Both teams went into the fixtures after winning their first game – Bayelsa Queens trashed Athleta Ladies of Togo 5-0 while Ampem Darkoa Ladies thrashed USFA 3-0.

With the draw in their second game, Bayelsa Queens remain top of the group with their superior goal difference closely followed by Ampem Darkoa Ladies.

Bayelsa Queens must avoid defeat in their last group game against USFA to book a place in the semis. Ampem Darkoa Ladies will play Athleta Ladies in their last group game.
