Walter Mazzarri: Ola Aina destined for gretaness
Torino headcoach Walter Mazzarri has backed Ola Aina to have a great career.
Ola Aina who has been a regular figure in Walter Mazzarri first team since he joined on loan from Chelsea has been in fine form.
The Nigeria International who put in a good shift in Torino’s 2-1 away win at Frosinone last two weeks when he just returned from an injury that kept him out of Chievo Verona’s clash a week earlier was likend to Colombian icon who Mazzarri had while at Napoli.
“Against Frosinone, Ola Aina did very well, he reminds me of Zuniga, he is destined for a great career if he continues like this.”
In the game against Frosinone, Aina set up Belotti for the winning goal in less than 10 minutes after he came on.
Last Sunday in a clash against Bologna, Ola Aina saw red for second bookable offence as Torino suffered a shocking 3-2 home loss.
Aina was expected to represent the Super Eagles for the first time since May 2018 but he turned it down citing injury despite playing for 90 minutes in Torino’s five-goal thriller loss.
