Warri Wolves FC mourn the tragic loss of goalkeeper coach Oyibo David Rashigba
Warri Wolves FC is grieving the sudden and tragic loss of their Goalkeeper Coach, Oyibo David Rashigba, who was found deceased in his residence.
Coach Rashigba, known for his dedication and commitment to the club, was discovered unresponsive in his room early this morning.
A club staff member provided an account of the distressing discovery: “He had passed away since Sunday. This morning, Warri Wolves’ secretary asked me to check on him because he wasn’t answering his calls. When I arrived and knocked on the door with no response, I had to break it open. Inside, we found Coach Rashigba lying unresponsive.”
In response to this heartbreaking news, Warri Wolves FC has released an official statement:
“A BLACK MONDAY IT IS AS WE MOURN THE DEMISE OF OUR GOALKEEPER TRAINER, COACH OYIBO DAVID RASHIGBA. We have been wishing we would see you wake up and tell us it was a long deep sleep, but … Hmmm Oyibo David Rashigba, this is a very rude shock to us all in the Warri Wolves family in particular and the Delta State Sports Family at large. It is indeed with heavy hearts that we share the news of your passing, Coach Oyibo David Rashigba. Your sudden departure is a devastating shock to all of us at Warri Wolves FC, as even in your reserved nature, you were super dedicated to your job, which you executed passionately. We cannot question God. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends during this difficult time. You will be missed dearly, Oyibo. Rest in peace.
