It is not often you see Russell Westbrook floored by an opponent.

But that is exactly what happened to the reigning NBA MVP in the first quarter on Sunday.

Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Joel Embiid – who has a history with Westbrook after the pair’s war of words earlier in the season – showed no mercy as he drove towards the rim and delivered a monstrous dunk over the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard.

Westbrook stood no chance against the 76ers giant, who was not done, staring down the Thunder star on his way back down the court in Oklahoma City.
