Rangers International FC moved a step closer to the CAF Champions League group stage with a crucial 1-0 victory over Angola’s Sagrada Esperanca, thanks to a brilliant strike from 18-year-old Kazeem Ogunleye.
In the first leg of the final preliminary round at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Ogunleye’s long-range shot in the 80th minute secured the win for Rangers. The young midfielder, formerly of Plateau United, delivered a powerful shot from outside the box, which proved decisive against a resilient Sagrada defense.
