Watford set to sign Flying Eagles star Charles Agada in January
Flying Eagles forward Charles Agada is set to join Sky Bet Championship side Watford in the January transfer window. The talented striker, currently with Mavlon FC, has attracted attention from several European clubs, but the Hornets have secured his services ahead of the winter window.
Agada was previously linked with clubs in Spain and Switzerland, but Watford emerged as his preferred destination. The deal will see him link up with the club as they aim to bolster their attacking options for the second half of the season.
In addition to Agada, Watford had also been eyeing Flying Eagles midfielder Daniel Daga. However, Daga’s move will not materialize, as he is now set to join Norwegian side Molde in January.
Agada, who was part of the Flying Eagles squad that competed in the 2022 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt, is currently in the Flying Eagles training camp preparing for the WAFU B U20 AFCON tournament in Togo.
At Watford, Agada will follow in the footsteps of former Flying Eagles midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru, who is currently on the club’s roster.
