Orlando Pirates skipper Happy Jele has declared his teammates will take to the playing turf vs RS Berkane for the 2022 CAF Confederation Cup Final to enjoy themselves and possibly do their country, club and families the honour of winning the title.
The Bucs skipper made this revelation while responding to questions at the Pre match press conference held at the Conference room of the Godswill Akpabio International stadium, Uyo Nigeria.
Jele reechoed the endorsement on the turf at the match venue as offered by CAF Pitch consultants earlier this week when he said it was okay and similar to what they have at the Orlando Pirates stadium in South Africa.
Happy Jele said ” Yeah I think we can play well, its the same grass that we normally play with at the Orlando Pirates stadium in south Africa. We want to enjoy ourselves cos it’s the same pitch.”
” We are excited to be in the final. We’ve been doing great in this competition. We want to enjoy ourselves tomorrow .
” We’ve lost in previous finals so we will do our all and also win this competition for our country , club , Families and the whole nation.” the South African defender concluded.
Orlando Pirates will today Friday 20th of May 2022 take on 2019/2020 CAF Confederation Cup winners RS Berkane in the final of the CAF Confederation Cup at the Godswill Akpabio International stadium Uyo by 8pm (Nigerian time).
