What Marcus Rashford Said After Aston Villa Debut

Marcus Rashford has spoken for the first time since his debut for Aston Villa in their FA Cup match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The 27-year-old, who joined Villa on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season, came on as a substitute in the 60th minute and made a strong impression in his 30 minutes on the pitch.

Rashford’s Thoughts After the Match
After the game, Rashford took to Instagram to thank the Villa fans for their warm welcome. He shared photos of himself with fans holding signs and wrote: “Thank you for the warm welcome. Great team performance.”

A Positive Debut
Rashford’s debut ended on a high note, with Villa winning 2-1 against Spurs. Jacob Ramsey and Morgan Rogers scored to give Villa a 2-0 lead, and although Spurs’ Mathys Tel netted a late goal, Villa held on for the win.

Rashford’s loan deal includes an option for Villa to sign him permanently for £40 million at the end of the season.
