What Molde FK said after completing Daniel Daga transfer

Norwegian Eliteserien club Molde FK have openly admitted ‘happiness’ after completing the signing of Nigerian midfielder Daniel Daga from FC ONE Rocket.

The 18-year-old has already gained valuable top-flight experience, having spent last season on loan at the prestigious two-time African champions, Enyimba. Daga was also part of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles squad for both the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations and the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, showcasing his potential on the international stage.

Molde’s Chief Executive Officer, Øystein Neerland, expressed excitement about Daga’s arrival, describing him as an exciting and talented player.

“We are very happy to bring in an exciting and talented player from Nigeria,” Neerland stated on the club’s official website. “Daniel already has experience from the top division there, and he is considered a great talent. We look forward to following his development here in Molde and helping him take new steps in his career.”

Daga is set to join Molde’s squad for their upcoming friendly against Træff at the Aker Stadion on Tuesday. The club’s supporters will be eager to see how the young playmaker adapts to his new environment and further develops his promising skills.
