When will Wilfred Ndidi return from Injury? Van Nistelrooy shares update
Leicester City head coach, Ruud van Nistelrooy, has confirmed that Wilfred Ndidi is close to making his return from injury and could be back in action next week.
Ndidi has been sidelined since December with a thigh injury, missing several key games as Leicester fights to stay out of the relegation zone. However, van Nistelrooy has provided a positive update on the Nigerian midfielder’s recovery.
“Wilfred is making good progress. He is partially involved in team training. We’ll look to bring him into full-team training next week,” van Nistelrooy told Leicester Mercury.
The upcoming Premier League game against Everton will come too soon for Ndidi, but he is expected to be available for Leicester’s FA Cup clash against Manchester United next Friday.
His return will be a big boost for the Foxes as they prepare for a tough test against the Red Devils in the fourth round of the competition.
