Why I Dropped Aubameyang From Champions League Squad – Potter
Chelsea coach Graham Potter has revealed the reasons behind his decision to leave Pierre Emerick Aubameyang out of the Champions League clash.

New signing, Benoit Badiashile was also left out of the squad, while Mykhailo Mudryk, Joao Felix and Enzo Fernandez made the list.
Potter has now opened up on his decision to leave out Aubameyang.
“He’s a professional,’ said Potter. ‘I understand he’ll be disappointed. It was a tough call. Pierre is just unfortunate and he’ll be fighting for his place for the rest of the season.
‘Whichever decision we made there was always going to be conversation about it. It was my decision. You have to make these calls. He’s done nothing wrong at all.
Aubameyang joined Chelsea in the summer under Thomas Tuchel, but he has been unable to hit top form since then.
However, He is Chelsea’s top scorer in the Champions League with two goals.
