Wilfred Ndidi wanted at Al Shabab, Celtic

Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is subject of transfer tussle from Saudi Arabian club Al Shabab and Scottish Premier League club Celtic this summer.

Wilfred Ndidi SportsaRation understands, is considering a move away from relegated English club Leicester City and is not short of suitors.

Al Shabab want to take the Nigerian midfielder to the middle East and are ready to submit an irresistible offer to tempt the defensive midfielder to dump European football for Asia.

According to Egyptian journalist Ahmed Ragab, six-time Saudi Premier League winners Al-Shabab have already made contact with Ndidi through his representatives.

Aside the financial leaps, the 26-year old may not be inclined towards moving out of Europe yet and so the interest from Scottish Champions Celtic may well top his choice.

According to Come on Leicester, current Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers worked with the Nigerian midfielder at Leicester City until his sack earlier in the year.

Leicester City are believed to value the Nigerian midfielder at 35 million pounds. That valuation may not be a worry for money-bags Al Shabab , Celtic will struggle to pay that fee for Ndidi .

Ndidi has a year on his current contract with FOXES, a situation that will trigger the club into selling to avoid losing the lanky midfielder for free next summer.
