He wouldn’t have done that to Messi – Forlan slams disrespectful Neymar

Former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan has slammed former Barcelona attacker Neymar for disrespecting his teammate Edinson Cavani.

Neymar who recently joined the big spenders PSG was involved in a tussel with his teammate, Cavani, over who takes a penalty and a free kick at another point and the Uruguayan legend has taken his country man side calling Neymar disrespectful.

“Neymar would not have done that to [Lionel] Messi,” Forlan told Sport 890 radio.

“There are egos everywhere, but there has to be respect for Cavani. He is the PSG goal scorer.

“When you arrive in a team you have to show respect. I understand that Neymar is Neymar, but Cavani is Cavani and each one has his place.

“It’s up to the coach to decide who should be the penalty taker.”
