Yakubu Aiyegbeni shows off boxing skills

Former Super Eagles striker, Yakubu Aiyegbeni in a viral social media update showed his boxing skills to spark discussions he is exploring a different career path after retiring from football five years ago.

Subsequently, he moved to Portsmouth on loan before signing a permanent deal. It was there he shot to another level of relevance in the game of football.

The former Julius Berger striker further made his mark in the Premier League with Middlesbrough and Everton, where he continued to find the back of the net consistently.

His career journey also included spells with Leicester City, Blackburn, and stints abroad in China, Qatar, and Turkey.

Despite retiring from professional football, Aiyegbeni’s passion for sports seems undiminished, as evident from his transition to boxing training. His dedication to mastering a new discipline reflects his commitment to staying active and exploring opportunities beyond the football pitch.
