Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Yemi Alade has shared video of her attending Nigeria’s 2023 AFCON clash vs Equatorial Guinea, with a caption backing the Super Eagles to bounce back following a 1-1 draw.
The female singer has expressed her unwavering support for the Super Eagles ahead of their second Africa Cup of Nations game against Cote d’Ivoire on Thursday.
The Super Eagles kicked off their quest for a fourth African title with a game against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday. Despite being the favorites, the team could only manage a 1-1 draw, leaving fans and supporters with mixed feelings.
Yemi Alade, who performed at the opening ceremony of the tournament on Saturday, was present at the Stade Olympique Alassane Ouattara in Abidjan to watch and support the Super Eagles. She shared a video of her and her team cheering for the Nigerian squad.
